I hadn't heard March, but I had heard that Q4 was looking less likely. This is one product where I really want them to get it right. They've made wholesale changes to the storage engine which means that bugs could result in data corruption and other nastiness. Like you, I really want it now, but I'll wait if it means getting a really solid product.

I did the SQL Server preconference deal and I seen a lot of capabilities that will make my life at TSR easier to manage once I get my backend data handling for my data warehouse apps migrated over. One thing though that I heard that was disappointing, supposedly SQL Server 7.0 is not going to be released now until March?
