>I have embedded a combo/dropdownlist into a grid column. The grid, its columns and the controls in the columns have their Fonts/Sizes all set as Tahoma, 8pt. Whilst everything works OK, when the combo has focus, there is a dotted line around the inside of the combo, and in the grid cell, around the edge of the combo, there is additional blue highlighting extending from the left of the cell as far as the length of the text value displayed in the combo. All in all, its very unsightly.

>Can anyone suggest any tips to help improve the appearance? By the way, the column's control source is a form method that returns a textual description of the integer value that generates the text in the combo. Sparse is set True in the column.

Try Grid.HighlightRow = .F.

But the VFP bad design disable the cell and the row !
