>Jess - I haven't needed .net yet in any of my application at this point. I realize that will be changing so I have a decision to make as to which .net language to use. If you would care to share, why did you go to C#.net over any of the other .net programs?

Besides what Jess mentioned, I find C# more concise, VB a little too verbose.
VB.Net is a lot more syntax-like VFP, so you might get confused while jumping between both. C# is sufficiently different where I can keep them separate in my mind.

I do not hate VB as Jess so I can deal with it (have used it some in the past). I like C# usage of 'this'. I hate VB's 'me'.

In the end, your language choice does not really matter. They all compile to the same thing. It is just a matter of personal preference and style. The learning curve is in framework.
