I agree that existing UI assets need some improvements (the grid amongst other things) however I would say that we need something along the lines of the new VirtualTreeGrid in VS2005 and not something like the Navision grid.

Also if the VFPT are concentrating on giving us Avalon integration then please do us all a favour and extend the native toolbar and menuing systems with the concept of object based renderers so that we can keep ourselves upto date with the latest UI developments.
