it's a message I posted yesterday about copying the DBC properties from tables into views. You should be able to tweak it to go table to table. Alter the laProperties array because tables have more properties than views. The help for DBGetProp shows all the properties.

However, in the original (applicant) table, I had captions stored ("Last Name" for field lname, "Home Phone #" for field pnumber, etc.). These captions were not copied to the new co-applicant table. Is there a reason why this information does not get copied to the new table? Is the only way to get the captions into the new co-applicant file by re-entering all of the captions?
