I think this is becoming a consensus among those who do detailed data manipulation, as I think you once told me is one of your specialties. MS seems to agree and has committed to bring certain crucial features into dotNET.
At some point it would be great to hear about the joys and hurts of your conversion exercise. How did it go, what wrong paths did you take, what went really well? I'm mostly interested from the data manipulation viewpoint.
