Michelle,
DDE stands for Dynamic Data Exchange. It's generally considered out of date. It's largely been replaced by ActiveX automation.
FoxPro supports DDE (since FP 2.5 for Windows). Look in help for the commands that start with the letters DDE.

>Anyone know what DDE is? Basics, especially, like what it stands for. I'm supposed to use this to interface with a program written in a different language and I don't have clue one about it.
