Regardless, if the textbox is placed at the far right edge of the part of the report where it's required, and side-stretched to its maximum width, then any text therein will effectively be right-just'd, be it to the RH margin, the RH edge of an enclosing box, RH edge of the data column, etc. I don't see where the problem is. Even if the text is to go to more than 1 line, it'll still be RJ. If I were tackling this problem then that's just how I would do it.
