Do I have to publish from the VS project to \inetpub? That seems to me to be a step that only has to occur when I'm ready to deploy the app, not while I'm designing it. I am a newbie to asp.net development so I could be way off in my assumptions. *g*

>Can it be as simple as forgetting to create an IIS app of the WebApplication1 folder on your IIS? Since you're getting "Server Error in '/' Application" it looks to me as this might be the case. Otherwise you should be getting "Server Error in '/WebApplication1' Application.
