>I have a contract to build an application but the client wants the backend in Sql 2000. I have always used VFP for back and front. So should I build it and upsize it? Or build the tables in Sql and connect to them? Either way I have no Idea how I would get the resulting tables on the clients server. Any help in this area would help. I had a friend tell me about an Ini file pointing to the server and database on their Sql Server. What ever that is.... Thanks for the help in advance.

You can use Cursor Adoptor to perform the task.
Of course you have to use T-SQL commands for processing, than VFP one
