>Frankly, after this discussion, I feel justified in using any descriptive I choose, so long as its not rude or *truly* offensive. And sheep surely isn't offensive while it does suit the impression I've developed - that people are very happy waiting for MS to do whatever MS chooses to do regardless of what they really need and want

Gee, Jim, I think I know what I need and want better than you do. I don't need or want a VFP database server. The only point I'm trying to make is that just because I'm not asking for this feature, doesn't mean I'm happy waiting for MS to do whatever they choose. I have a huge list of things I want MS to do. Instead of waiting for them to do all of them (they never will), I choose to use other tools when necessary. I also complain as loudly as I can when I don't think they're doing what's best for the product and for developers.

One of the best ways to do this is to try to corner Microsoft people when they show up in public. In fact, I'm going to see Robert Green speak tomorrow night. I'm sure we'll get an opportunity to let him know what we're looking for in future versions. Whether it will do any good or not remains to be seen (it probably won't do much).
