Glad I could help....as to the captions...hmm...I was unaware that they didn't copy. Maybe a program could be written to grab that stuff out of the Properties field in the actual .DBC file and copy it over. Might make an interesting project for you and a good chance to study the structure of the database container metadata structure, huh?

However, in the original (applicant) table, I had captions stored ("Last Name" for field lname, "Home Phone #" for field pnumber, etc.). These captions were not copied to the new co-applicant table. Is there a reason why this information does not get copied to the new table? Is the only way to get the captions into the new co-applicant file by re-entering all of the captions?
