I think I found colors proble. The problem is that every button has BackColor = White and VFP9 thinks that thaty must be Transperant (i think I saw this reported as a BUG) no matter how BackStyle is set. If you change the BackColor of the buttons to something else i.e. RGB(254,255,255) you'll see the difference.
That with Anchors is great :o)
