well, several options

first the most simple way -( not very recommended - but should work for most cases) , if u know what kind of printer will be used e.g dot-metrix or laser etc. u can assume compatability to brand name printers (epson or HP in the examples shown)

second way that comes to mind is to use APRINTERS and SET PRINTER TO NAME to choose the printer and then use API calls
to setup the printer

3rd way is pretty much like #2 but once u have the printer set
make the changes to an .frx (as others and I told u in another thread)
print it to file, extract the codes for setting and unsetting the options
u like from that file and use ??? to print it to the printer

well u did say u want to save disk-space didn't u :)
