Quite the contrary. I did not say truth was not important. I meant that within the context of politics, the truth is not rational. It just does not matter to many in the political arena. Our "free" press does not seem to care much either unless it meets "their" agenda (see Dan Rather, et al). For any lurkers out there, do NOT throw the likes of Limbaugh, Air America back at me beacuse that is not the "press". I do believe that in the end the truth will prevail, but political expediency and the lack of a truly objective press tends to trample on what is truthful and right.
