Have you looked at the query plan? Does it say it's using a Table Scan? Is there an index on invdate?

>Thanks for the reply. We have tried casting the @BegDate and @EndDate as datetime values before the comparison and we got the same results. As for the milliseconds on the InvaDate we aren't concerned about that because the company closes well before midnight so there are no invoice times around midnight. But like i said we have tried the converting to datetime first with the same results. Any other thoughts?
