I need to create a report where the main source table in the detail band
comes from multiple tables that are not linked together. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this task ?

Is there any reason you're not able to link the tables? If they're all in the detail band, then they're "logically" linked.

Or...you could join them together beforehand into one table, and then report off that table.

If that doesn't help, can you provide some specifics?
