Officially, our VFP user group here in Montreal has merged with the Visual Studio user group and with the SQL Server user group. In reality, the VFP user group is dead. They didn't presented any VFP specific sessions after the merge.
>Our local group, the Vancouver FoxPro Users Group (
http://www.foxprobc.org ) has run continuously since the early '90s. In our early meetings (shortly after FPDOS 2.0 was released) we had 80+ people attending.
>
>The group has slowly dwindled over the years until we now have a "core" of about 8-10 people. Despite our best efforts and arranging some interesting meetings we haven't been able to expand attendance, or stop the very slow erosion. I think we may be near, if not already below, the "critical mass" needed to keep the group viable.

>From what I gather, other user groups are experiencing the same issues. I'd be interested in hearing about your experiences and how successful you've been in maintaining the vigour of your groups.
