VFP to me is (as of version 5.0):
Advantage:
1. Data-centric development Tool.
2. Object-Oriented Programming environment
3. Offers new paradigm shift in C/S technology.
4. RAD development tool.
5. Gains Knowledge Base support worldwide (Friendly huh...)

Disadvantage:
1. DBC/Table is not secured.
2. Forms refresh rate is not satisfactory.
