It seems like they give you the most flexible type of interfacing. If you need to make a change, just change the data. You don't have to mess with hard coded controls.

No problem. Bound control is the flexible way of associating a particular field in the underlying table or query. IMHO, VB have a different way of manipulating data because it is not supporting OOP concept.
