>OK, I'll be happy to obligue. Especially because you didn't say anything about psychic powers and the like ;-)

Could you please have a little more respect for me. I don't really like the way you seem to make fun of me. What's your problem? Are you trying to get me out of business. It's not given to anybody to have psychic powers. If it was the case then they would'nt be called powers. So can you please stop making fun of my powers. In the first place I never really wanted to have those. It just happened. I woke up one day and It happened. Since then I try use them to help as many persons as I can ;-)

On a more serious note:

MS is a huge corporation. I think it's safe enough to say that they're at the top of their game. There's a saying that goes like this "When you're at the top there's only one way to go and it's down."

Sure MS could have just said to us (the community) something like "We warned you for long enough. We've been telling you for quite a while that the name of the "New" game is .Net Now if you did'nt understand the message perhaps you should envision a career change. That's it! VFP9 was the last. Sorry for those that did'nt make the jump."

Moneywise something like that would'nt change many things for MS. But the biggest impact would probably be on their overall image. I'm sure that MS is avoiding as much as they can bad press. And killing the FOX would send a negative message to developers and their biggest detractors could use it to attack MS even more. Imagine the news releases "MS proves once again they bullying tactics" ans similar stories.

So perhaps MS will just make VFP die slowly. We'll just begin using VFP with .Net and become more and more comfortable with .Net until the day everyone decides to do things 100% .Net

This way we (VFP community) can't accuse MS of not supporting us because they'll take us to .Net gradually and MS can tell us that they're taking care of us. So this look like a WIN-WIN situation. MS win both ways <vbg>
