Microsoft has already published some specs for Longhorn. It will definately run on todays 32 bit processors. However, looking out to the release after Longhorn, figure 10 years out, 64 bit will be firmly placed on the desktop.


>Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Longhorn REQUIRED an x64 chip. It makes sense with all the head room it is going to need just to run.
