Ken,
> We plan to make Sedna much more than just a service pack. We have almost two years worth of development ahead of us which is a long time to add many new features and capabilities to VFP development by the time Senda is released in 2007 as currently scheduled.
Apologies for the poor choice of words on my part, re: "serivce pack". The concept of an add-on product vs. new version or service pack is new to me. I've been a MS customer since before MS-DOS and this is the first time I've come across the add-on concept at Microsoft. So bear with me and the rest of your customers as we get used to this notion.
On the positive side, I hope you and your team understand the sentiment behind my earlier words which was both my appreciation for a great product and my confidence in your team's ability to "deliver the goods."
Finally, a note of thanks to you. I greatly appreciate all you've done to keep VFP relevant at Microsoft. Kudos!
Malcolm
