Conventional radio is dying quickly, I agree. Satellite radio is "da bomb." As someone who drives 10 hrs straight at least once a month, I have found that the 12/mo for Sirius (XM is just as good...) is a worthwhile investment to be able to listen to any genre of music I desire without commercial interruption. I can also listen to things like NPR, or Fox News, or ESPN - which have some interruptions (because the source has commercials) but they are simply ads for other Sirius channels...they don't actually play the source commercials.

Plus, I can listen to the Sirius music streams in my office. Basically, anywhere I go, I hear commercial free music......
