Hi Craig...

>I've said before that much of what Robert is doing is pushing VFP to Microsoft people...these are things that we don't see. And he is making progress. Take a alook at the Press Release announcing VFP 6.0. You have a Microsoft VP saying things that someone that high at Microsoft has never said before...things that previously only said about VB. With 6.0, you'll see more external marketing of VFP. As for VFP getting features late, I'll remind you that VFP has features that other Microsoft tools will never get, for example, VB will never have true object orientation. Let's stop complaining about what we don't have and get back to work with what we do have.

Hear, hear! It's starting to become apparent what R.Green is doing for VFP behind the scenes and, given the size of the VStudio monster, we can't reasonably expect VFP to be as recognizable throughout MS that quickly. IMHO, MS likes to experiment with technologies in VFP ...hence the OOP features.
