Title:
VFP Exe slow to load and frequently stops for long time
Environment versions
Network:
Windows 2000 Server
I am running a VFP Exe on a workstation off a Win 2000 LAN.
If I run it on a machine with XP pro and lots of memory, the program is very slow to start and frequently when it running a normal process it will just STOP for as much as a couple of minutes.
The exact same program being run from same place on network on a Win 2000 workstation does NOT do the stops and delays. The 2000 machine has less ram and is an older and slower machine, bt it make the VFP Exe look like it is runnig MUCH faster (since it does not occasionally stop).
Could this be some type of screen buffer or memory buffer that is diferent in XP from 2000?
