Additions to all said, it's my #1 developing language from 1GL to 5GL. It's like an integrated circuit vs a bulb. Of course there are still lacking parts, but seeing where it came from foxbase (thanks to "fox software" that started it) to VFP I believe it'll even get further. My basic expectations from VFP is data management and does it perfectly well with the highest performance/cost ratio. Its open architecture is a plus.
Reasons to use it are many, basically two reasons :
1) Better than foxpro 2.x
2) It was the product caused me have so many good friends all over the world (UT)
