>I'm trying to use Norton Ghost to clone a drive (doing this just so that I have a stable copy so I can fall back to it). Cloning a WinXP Pro drive worked without a hitch (was able to boot from the clone w/o a problem), but same wasn't true with WinXP Home. The clone doesn't seem to want to boot -- it keeps cycling through a reboot -- flashing briefly a text screen w/ message (but have not had much success in stopping it before it cycles back to rebooting). In both cases the procedure followed was the same:
>1. install the OS and apply service packs
>2. install applications
>3. Attach secondary drive
>4. Use Ghost to clone to secondary drive
>5. detach original drive, attach secondary as primary
>6. reboot w/ clone

Did you active XP Home before you cloned it?
