Hi, Neil.
>I know it is not easy but I come back to a point I made a few days ago, Avalon is where the Windows desktop needs to be but users expectations are today and when Microsoft is touting interfaces like Office 2003, Visual Studio 2005 etc. we struggle to deliver. Don't get me wrong because you can do an lot with the VFP interface but its that final "spit and polish" that is always missing.

Yes, I see your point. If something usable could be provided, it would surely be good.
>Why would this not be a reasonable halfway house for people, no need resort to MFC or ATL for ActiveX? Can't the VFP team invite someone from the IE or MFC team to come have a look help them out, share ideas?
Maybe they can use people like Ives Dolce to assist on that.
