Thanks Myron. I agree completely but just felt safer in my belief with confirmation from someone else. The reason I was unsure was because I initially set DE.Cursor1.BufferModeOverride=3 and in the Form.Init I issued =CURSORSETPROP('BUFFERING', 5, ALIAS()). When I suspended, the BufferModeOverride was still 3 but the properties of the view indicated Optimistic Table Buffering and I wanted to ensure the properties of the view overrode the Form.BufferMode setting and the Cursor.BufferModeOverride setting.
