>I'm sorry for not being clear.

Hey, no problem! I was butting in anyway! :-)

>... In our military (as in England's too I'm sure because I actually met many English soldiers in some countries I 'visited')

Putting 'visited' in quotes like that gives it an ominous edge ... like "visiting death on someone" :-) You said you'd discharged the gun twice. What stopped the bullets?

>there are many jobs and while everyone is trained to be a soldier, your experiences can vary alot depending on your actual job (or MOS - military occupational speciality). I was in the U.S. Army for years and started out a helicopter weapons mechanic for a few years ...

Sounds like quite an exciting old life you had. The new one's not Apache on the old. But I guess Huey were Sea King something less dangerous.

>I met my ex-husband at a cuartel in Penonome.

Sorry, what's a cuartel?

>>What were you - the "noo sh'rr'f in town" or something? :-) How come you get to bear arms in a foreign country? I'm aware that you were in the USAF, this whilst on a tour?
