I support a huge legacy app which was originally written in FoxPro for DOS, and has been evolved. Extensive sections of this application still use @ SAY and @ GET in DEFINE WINDOWS. We see a problem where in several places when some other window is opened over a data entry window with an active read, the color of the read window will switch to the windows form color and all of the text written with @ SAY's will disappear. The GET's are still visible, and the form functions properly other than the change in color and the dissappearance of the prompts.
THEMES is set to false for this application.
This problem does not occur when the OS is not using visual styles (windows theme is "Windows Classic").
I understand that @ GET and @ SAY are outdated, but as much as I would love to have the whole app rewritten using forms, that is not an option for our client. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
