If unlock all tries to unlock table header, that would be indeed a big problem as Insert SQL and append blank will also lock them and for a table that is heavily edited that would create Havoc.

I thought 'Unlock all' as documented tries to unlock all records and file locks in all work areas but doesn't deal with the table header.

Wouldn't be the first time that VFP documentation comes short.
