Dmitry,
Is the transfer of XML files between PC and PPC initiated from the PC or the PPC? (Who (PC or PPC) transfers the files?)
I would like the PPC app to put a file on the PC.

Einar

And to copy a file from Desktop to a Pocket PC folder, again using VFP application, I use API calls described in a document on the site to which I provided the link. I really don't know if these API calls can be made from .NET apps.

>>>I am happy to share the information. Yes, the information between Pocket PC and PC, back and forth, is done with XML files. The program puts the files in the actual folders where they are needed.
>>>Site www.news2news.com has Win32 API class that works very well on sending files, checking for folders, creating folders, etc. One option was to use ActiveSync synchronization to send the files but I wanted to have more control as to when and where the files will be copied.
