>I've noticed FoxPro command buttons offer no color props. I got the idea of asking the form to draw a box over the button with DrawMode = XOR to at least change the color of the button. Well, nothing happens. I am drawing the Box bigger than the button so if the button refreshes, I would still see some color change. Any ideas?

CommandButton uses Windows default color. One possible workaround (if really necessary) is to replace it with Container having toggled SpecialEffect (1/0) property.
