Jill,

1. Open report in the Report Designer, uncheck Printer Environment on the Repoert menu and save report.
2. Make sure that the printer form you created (8.5" x 4.26") has the same # on other PCs as on yours. One of my FAQs would be helpful here.
3. Check in the printer properties what paper formats are available for that printer on your PC and other PCs

>I was having trouble last week, printing a report that had been a FPW 2.6 report, that has been converted into VFP 9.0. We're trying to print checks on an Epson FX-8500, on pre-printed 8.5" x 4.25" forms. We had the trouble that in each successive check, the text was moving up a small bit.

>We read some messages here, and got some other advice, and were able to solve the problem ON MY XP (service pack 2) computer. We'd redefined the HEIGHT of the form in the FRX, and also defined the form to be 8.5" x 4.26". That solved the problem.

>Now we are trying to print the actual checks. The check printing process prints 2 "alignment" checks. They print fine on my computer. I can printe 2, 4, 6, etc. checks and they are PERFECTLY aligned on the pre-printed forms.
>
>On ALL other computer here (all XP, some w/VFP installed), on the SAME printer, using the SAME printer driver and print server settings and forms, the first 2 alignment checks print properly. When the second two checks are printed, the paper skips up - and tries to print check #3 exactly 11" from the top of the first check printed (coincidence????). It's like it thinks that there are 2 different form sizes...the one the 2 checks are printed on, and then?

>Looking at the articles you've referenced, i'm not sure what, if anything they will help with. I think they refer to setting/creating printer forms, but that's not really our problem. We're creating the forms manually and just want to get them to work!
