Thanks for that. We do get a few howlers on the UT too. This reminds me of my travels in Thailand. Approaching Ko Samui on the ferry we were given business cards from different "resorts" on the island. On one, the doner had written "FOLEE TOLANSOLORT". It was a while before I realised he was offering us "free transport" to the place. Flyers (papers) on the beach advertised a transvestite bar as "Ko Samui's only travesty bar".

In Hurghada in Egypt there's a medical complex. On the gate, besides the Arabic writing is "Department of Healthy Affairs". I thought, "Are they ones that don't end in acrimony - or involve animals?"
