I meant, does an entire copy of VFP have to be loaded or just the
runtime engine? But you answered it below, thanks.

I may not always want ot do that. I like to develop "stand alone"
execuatbles. But if all you need to load is the runtime engine, then
that would be _OK_.... I guess i'll have to keep using VC++ to make
independant (at least in the non MFC sense) DLL's.
