Hi Peter,

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't find your interpretation of the Sedna choice for a name negative at all. I just found it sick.

Perhaps I didn't explain myself or my poking fun at you wasn't obvious, but I think you've gone too far with your interpretation.

One thing is to read between the lines, another is to take the words or actions of Ken or anyone from MS as gospell and start reading other things "into it".

What's next? Perhaps a close look at Ken's choice of shoes will tell us a lot about what will happen with vfp. Perhaps the color of his clothes.

If this madness doesn't stop, people will soon be selling the napkin he used to clean his mouth after dinner in Prague!!!

That's what I was making fun of.

Alex

>Huh? Sickest? Not a single negative thought about it in MY mind. The explanation is meant to be without even a touch of cynism.

>>Peter, I think you owe yourself a vacation, or at least some time AWAY from the computer.

>>This is the sickest post I've ever seen here in the UT (of course, the fact that I'm spending time replying to it when I should be working says a lot about me as well). ;-)

>>Go on Peter, it's OK to open the door and walk out of the house. Nothing is going to happen to you. It'll be all right. Really...

>>>Here's the piece of text that made me wonder:
>>>As the legend goes, Sedna was a beautiful Inuit girl who lived with her father. She was very vain and thought she was too beautiful to marry just anyone. Time and time again she turned down hunters who came to her camp wishing to marry her. Finally one day her father said to her "Sedna, we have no food and we will go hungry soon. You need a husband to take care of you, so the next hunter who comes to ask your hand in marriage, you must marry him."
>>>
>>>Explained:
>>>We and VFP are Sedna. MS and the VFPTeam are the father. We regard VFP as very beautiful and are reluctant to fundamentally marry/connect to any other tool. Our father fears for starvation, as time will let diminish beauty, for sure. The hushband that the father has in mind is .NET.
