>>>How to make in report show of detail order number by data field?
>>>
>>>I want to show by every detail field his number by order: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5....
>>>
>>>I have tried RECNO() to add to field but that doesnt work beacuse there are deleted records in table so it skip some number (1,2,3,5,6,9...) and i want it because I need in groups to show that order number which is again useless with RECNO().

>>Put a variable in report, Calculate->Sum, Initial Value = 0, Value to Store ->1, Reset At -> Choose the group., Put this variable to print at the beging of the Detaile band row.
For Group sequence:
Add a new variable named GroupSeq, Calculate->Sum, Initial Value = 1
DoubleClick on Group Footer Then in OnExit even put:
_VFP.SetVar("GroupSeq",GroupSeq+1)
then print this variable in each group
