Sarah, I use Seagate's BackupExec on a tape drive for daily backups, and have off-site storage for each week's work. More frequently if I'm not sending work to my clients daily. I use a ZIP drive for transferring data/programs to and from clients, and also for storing a finished job for a client if I need the space on my computer.
We found the importance of off-site backups when our office building burned one night. NOTHING survived, but we had my business running by noon the next day on borrowed computers. I was missing only 24 hours of work, and most of that had been uploaded to a client.
