Do I need to update the runtime files that are installed at client sites after a VFP service pack is released?

We have been applying all available service packs for VFP6 on our development computers. We continue to enhance (and fix any problems in) our application and distribute an exe file only. Thus far we have not redistributed the runtime files. Should we?
