Have you tried using MSMAPI? If not I'll throw some code together for you real quick.

>Since CDO has stopped working intermittently and I have not resolved that situation yet, my goal is to send an email using the default email client so the email client is launched and the user manually clicks on SEND. I do not need to automate the entire process. I have this working using code courtesy of Rick Strahl and using mailto and ShellExecute (similar to this method: http://www.west-wind.com/presentations/shellapi/shellapi.asp ). However, this method does not allow for sending attachments and my case I do need to send a file as an attachment.

The goal is to send the file as an attachment with the email using the user's default email client. Security and redemption are not an issue because I only need to launch the email client and allow the user to add comments and click on send.
