Cetin,

You don't have to use the same tables. Create a simple table with two fields: cUserID and cEmpName. Put some data and put 4 records with empty cUserID, but not empty cEmpName.

Anyway, let me try your idea first.

Setting controlsource to nothing seems to fix the problem. Is where a way to reset combo to blank value once something was selected? (If there are not empty cEmpName in the list)? Ctrl+0 doesn't do it.
