You should write it to an 'exit' point. It might be a form's close button, menu 'exit' command etc.
I saw you were telling you had 'clear events' in form unload in your reply to Tore. Then probably your form is unloading directly for some reason (returning .f. from init?).
PS: Also try putting:
this.Show
in form.init
