Using a different form of find window may solve the quitting problem, but that is not the real issue. The real issue is why doesn't the Delphi app run. It has a visual interface and it never starts. I have rewritten the code so that if the ini object does not return ok then an alert appears. This also does not function.In the back of my mind is the idea that VFP somehow does not actually get "focus" until something is written to the screen. ???
