He couldn't use his official umbrella holder because he gave his umbrella to a gentleman that recently was given a civilian award (I cannot remember the gentleman's name or the award) when he got off of the plane. If his aide was holding the umbrella (as was the case at one point) then President Bush couldn't have handed his over...

It was raining and as I saw the President holding his own umbrella I thought, “Why does Michael Jackson have an official umbrella holder and our President does not”? Oh well!
