If I use my way, I'm not sure I understand what you mean by ..... "you must return values storing them in custom properties of external (e.g. oApp) object."

I have defined & assigned values to properties cCompany & cReportHeader in my modal form. By issuing the command DO FORM selectco NAME loCompany, I am able to refer to these values in the report's init event by saying loCompany.cCompany & loCompany.cReportHeader. Are you saying I need to go one step further and assign these values to an external object & use the external object name in my report? How would I code that?
