I want to use NetLib software to encrypt one of the fields (creditcard) in my sql table (Account.dbf). I have a vfp remote view that retrives/updates this sql table from vfp app. If I were to encrypt the creditcard field, how would this affect the vfp remote view? Is it possible to still use this remote view to retrive and update data on sql server or should I use the sql passthrough statements?

Any insight to this would be greatly appricated, as I am new to the encryption process of sql data and its affects on vfp remote views.
