I had a pal who ran CP/M via an expansion slot on his Commodore 64. The extra module contained a Z80 :). And I helped him around the stuff as I was some sort of guru at the time... so it was teensy scissors, cut the slot, and "flip the pancake, it needs the other module". We ran an amazing 2x180K out of that frying pan (aka floppy drive).
